Medibuddy

Meddibuddy Review

Clean it, Fix it & Back to Play"™

I was given a Meddibuddy kit to review by the company and another Diaper Bag Buddy (click this for the list of its interesting contents!) for a giveaway.  I was initially intrigued by their portable packaging and cute animal image, but I became equally impressed by their mission statement.  This is a family run business that partners with the community to provide employment to disabled individuals.  I love this little snippet from their website, "To provide quality, user-friendly first aid products that are durable, comprehensive and encourage heightened awareness of the most common injuries".  They offer the small first aid kit, the diaper bag buddy and a larger home kit, which comes with a large refill package.

I love the small container for the kit that easily slides into diaper bag pockets.  It didn't open in the diaper bag or when tossed into the bottom of the stroller.  My kiddo didn't open it when using it as a "rock" either (don't ask).  It has quite a few items inside.

Here is the contents list:

(15) Kid-Friendly Assorted bandages (animal prints in my case!)
(1)    Knee & Elbow bandage
(1)   Sting Relief Pad
(4)   2” X 2” Gauze Pads (2 Two Packs)
(3)   Antiseptic Wipes (sting free)
(1)   Burn Relief Cream
(2)   Antibiotic Ointments
(12) Kid-Friendly Fun Stickers
(1)   Reusable & recycled Carry Anywhere Case.

I think this kit would be great for tossing into your diaper bag "just in case".  I would beef it up a bit more if going hiking with the kids or camping though.  As is, it can get you through the most common playground scrapes and bites.  The container does leave room for a baby tylenol bottle or a mini hand sanitizer. The stickers could also be useful for getting you through a restaurant dinner as well!

A 2 pack of the Meddibuddy or the Diaper Bag Buddy is $12.95 and the home kit is $16.95.  For this price, it would make a great baby shower gift for a new mom!
